We offer a free and CONFIDENTIAL service, anything you say to D’n’A staff will not be shared or passed on to other people without your consent, unless we are worried that you or someone you know is being hurt or is likely to be hurt or at risk.
How can we help?
If you, or someone else’s drug or alcohol use is getting you down then D’n’A is the place for you! The service can help you look at what’s worrying you and help identify problems you may need support with.
We Offer Support With
To help you understand the effects of drug and alcohol use and the impact it can have on individuals and lifestyle.
Our nurse can support you with any health or sexual health concerns. We are also a C card outlet, providing free contraception to under 18’s.
This will include finding and planning the best way to help with your drug/alcohol use in discussion with you.
We know that parents and carers can often get upset when there are drug and alcohol problems in the family. Which is why we offer a separate support service for them.
Sometimes young people who use drugs and alcohol find themselves with nowhere to stay. We can support you by ensuring you have the right access to appropriate services.
General Advice and Information
We provide advice and information on drugs and alcohol however we can provide more information on many other services that may be useful to you.
These are some of the things that we can help you with. Feel free to contact us or call in to the D’n’A service. You may see one of our workers in your school or local youth group, please feel free to approach them to ask any questions you may have.
